In this session, we will discuss easy parent contact with Remind, a program that allows you to text parents instantly without giving out your phone number. We will also look at the use of Google Forms as a quick and effective way for behavior management and check-in/check-out for restrooms and more. Google Forms can also be an alternative for quick quizzes and assessments. We will also take a quick overview of Google Classroom and how it can be used to put all documents and links you may need for your class as well as scheduling assignments.

There are a few different tools that you can sue for quick formative and summative assessment. There are also some hacks to use with district assigned quizzes and tests that may make the data more efficiently gained and more effectively used.
Plickers: I have been an advocate of pickers for the last several years. To use this program you do need an internet ready android phone or apple phone/ipod.
What does it do?
Using paper cards that your phone reads it allows students to answer multiple choice questions.
Logs student answers instantly.
Allows you to see the percentage of right and wrong answers.

The tool for basic forms will again be Google Forms. Google Forms is most effective with tools such as Google Classroom or Edmodo.
