Closeread2.JPGDigital tools can provide teachers with the options that they need to design differentiated learning activities to meet the needs of all students in English/Language Arts. This session will show teachers how to use computers and/or iPads to create digital text passages from various sources, and it will also show how those passages can then be digitally annotated and highlighted by students using close reading strategies for comprehension.

I am a sixth grade classroom teacher at Mountville Elementary School. I've been teaching for 16 years and recently earned my Technology Specialist Certificate. I also have a master's degree in Science Education. I love engaging students in my curriculum using hands-on activities and technology.
