Understanding the process of teaching coding can be rather daunting. Figuring out where it fits within the already-defined curriculum is another challenge in and of itself. In this session, participants will learn about the ways in which coding integrates within the ELA and Math Common Core State Standards and will get hands-on experience with different coding platforms. Through this session, participants will be invited into the “Coding Connect” community, created by Google Certified Teachers, with a mission to connect coders with educators.
