Room: 106E

Presenter: Becky Bair, Grade 4 teacher, Elizabethtown School District
This is my 17th year teaching in Elizabethtown. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, a 4th and 5th grade multiage class, and helped develop and teach the elementary technology program in the district. I was a PLPeep and Connected Coach for three years. You can find me and my class online at The Bairs Den, our class Twitter account, and my personal Twitter account.

Audience: K-6
Description:
This presentation will show teachers how to prepare for and carry out a Mystery Skype. During a Mystery Skype session, students connect with another classroom and use social studies, questioning, inferencing, and teamwork skills to determine the location of that class. Classes can then go one step further to collaborate on a variety of other projects.

So what is a mystery skype?
