Session Title: Google as an Administrative Communications Tool

Description: Two elementary principals from the Cocalico School District will demonstrate how they use Google as a communication tool with their staff. Items covered are things like faculty meeting, book studies, calendars, documents and general school information.

Description: During this presentation hear how three different teachers, each at different grade levels, integrate google tools into the classroom. Presenters will focus on google docs, google sites, and google presentations, demonstrating how to use them to enhance learning, improve parent/teacher communication, and provide students with access to resources at school or at home.


Session Title: When Web 2.0 and iPhone Fall in Love...

Description: The internet has transformed from a "resource book" to a "tool box" that is ready for use at your closest access point. The first half of the presentation will highlight a variety of Web 2.0 tools that can be classified under "utility, productivity, or accessibility." It will be fast and furious so buckle up (the presentation will be posted for viewing in depth later)! The second half of the presentation will highlight powerful iPhone apps that work seamlessly with two Web 2.0 tools designed to provide students with a voice in two different capacities - Posterous and Dropbox.

Session Title: Student Response Devices - Increasing Student Engagement and Making Data-Driven Decisions

Description: The focus of this session will be using student response devices to increase student engagement and using the results to make immediate data-driven decisions. During this session, the demonstration will utilize ActivExpressions and ActivInspire; however, concepts can be applied to any type of student response devices.
