I will share with you how I have been able to utilize iPads in my first grade classroom. I will share the best free apps that I have found that are curriculum relevant and perfect for center time in my classroom. We also now have Apple TV and a Cart of 30 iPad Minis as shared devices for my grade level.

In this session. participants will learn how to use technology tools such as Digital Storybooks, Blabberize, Xtranormal, Kidblog, Toondoo, Google Earth, and I-movie to make literacy based lessons more exciting. Participants will learn how to use the tools step by step and get lesson ideas that they can incorporate in their classroom. Time will be provided to create new lessons at the end of the session so please bring your computer.
