Session Title: Managing iPads in the Classroom

Description: This is one district's first step to administration and management of iPads. Information shared will be Apple's Volume Purchase Program, account management, and iPad Settings structure.


Session Title: Implementing Technology into Literacy

Audience: K-6, Primary (K-3), Intermediate (4-6)
Description: This session will be a “fun” way to learn about integrating technology tools into literature with tools such as cartooning, digital storybooks, Jeopardy PowerPoints, moviemaking, wordle and buildyourwildself. We will also discuss websites you can use to locate appropriate and copyright-free images to use in projects. Although example lessons will relate to literature, the tools can be applied to any topic area. Please bring your laptop, as you will have time to create your own lessons.

Engaging students and parents with interactive tools such as Wikispaces, Blabberize, Google Calendar, embedded videos, files, photos, and more. As the internet provides connectivity among people and nations, educators can join in creating opportunities for connectivity within K-12 education. Participate in this session to learn about collaborative projects that will provide action-learning in real world contexts and help you build multicultural understandings across content areas including social studies, science, math, languages, history, and arts.
