Social networking is often viewed as a medium that inhibits face-to-face interaction. Learn how to utilize pedagogical strategies that incorporate social media to increase your students' engagement in their education, increase technological proficiency, contribute to a greater sense of collaboration in the classroom, and build better communication skills. Strategies can be used in Edmodo, Moodle, wikis, blogs, etc.
Description: Rather than email or phone calling folks for information, use Google Docs Forms to automatically collect responses in a spreadsheet and summary format. Google Docs Form responses may be collected anonymously or by account. Teachers and administrators can use Google Docs Forms as a survey tool or a confirmation tool.
